Appointments and calendar

Let visitors book time on your calendar straight from your profile. Connect Google Calendar, set your meeting types, and you're done.

6 min read Updated June 2026

Appointments turn your profile into a booking page. Visitors pick a time, your calendar event gets created automatically, both of you get a confirmation. No back-and-forth emails.

Appointments is a PRO feature. Try it during your free PRO trial.

1. Connect Google Calendar

1

Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar.

2

Click "Connect Google Calendar." You'll be redirected to Google to sign in.

3

Approve the permissions: read your calendars (so we know when you're free) and add events (so bookings appear automatically).

What we access: Your calendar availability (busy/free) and the ability to add new events. We don't read the content of your existing events.

2. Set your availability

Tell us when you're open to meetings.

1

From the same settings screen, find Availability.

2

Set your working hours for each day of the week — e.g. Mon–Fri, 9 AM to 5 PM.

3

Set your buffer time — how many minutes between meetings (so you're not booked back-to-back without a break).

4

Set your minimum notice — e.g. people can only book at least 4 hours in advance, not 5 minutes from now.

3. Create meeting types

Meeting types are the different kinds of meetings you offer. Examples: "15-min intro call," "30-min consultation," "60-min strategy session."

1

Click "Add meeting type."

2

Fill in:

  • Title — what visitors see ("Free intro call")
  • Duration — 15, 30, 60 min, or custom
  • Location — Google Meet (auto-generated), Zoom link, phone, in-person address
  • Description — what the meeting covers
3

Save. Your meeting type now shows up on your profile.

4. Turn on the Appointments section in your profile

1

Open the profile editor. Find the Appointment section.

2

Toggle it on. Drag it where you want — usually near the top, so visitors see it right away.

How the visitor experience works

  1. Visitor opens your profile.
  2. They see your meeting types in the Appointment section.
  3. They pick a meeting type → see your available time slots.
  4. They pick a time, fill in their name and email.
  5. An event is created on your Google Calendar with their info.
  6. Both of you get a confirmation email with the meeting link.
Bookings count as contact exchanges. Anyone who books a meeting also lands in your Exchanged Contacts. They're warm leads by definition — you can act on them like any other contact.

Cancel or reschedule

Both you and the visitor get an email link to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations remove the calendar event automatically. The visitor's Anexus contact record stays — only the meeting is cancelled.

Time zones

Visitors see times in their time zone. You see times in yours. Anexus does the math. You don't need to explain "9 AM Eastern" — they just see "9 AM" in their local time.

Disconnect Google Calendar

Anytime, from Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar → Disconnect. Removes our access immediately. Existing bookings stay on your calendar; new bookings stop coming in until you reconnect.
